What is the Proper Way to Take Care Of Your Toothbrush?

Your toothbrush is one of the most important beauty tools you own. Toothbrushes should be carefully rinsed after use and allowed to dry. The American Dental Association recommends that we store the brush in an upright position, and definitely do not store in a cover or closed container.

Replace your toothbrush about every 3 to 4 months, or when it shows signs of wear. Frayed bristles will not clean the teeth and gums adequately. Toss toothbrushes after illness. Throw away a brush you or anyone in your home used while sick.
