Now that school is out don't forget to CALL US TODAY to schedule you and your family!
If you have a child going into Kindergarten, 2nd, or 6th Grade remember you need to have the Dental Examination form for your respective school according to Illinois State law. We have extra forms here so don't worry if you forget to bring them to your child's appointment.
We wish you a safe, enjoyable and fun filled summer!
Congratulations to Dr. Osmanski who was recently inducted as the McHenry County Dental Society President!
It takes as many as you need. Dental trauma and decay can take one, multiple or all of your teeth captive, and the only way to take back your oral health is to replace those teeth.
Osmanski Dental offers a number of restorative procedures that involve the placement of a prosthetic tooth, including:
- Dental implants
- Dentures
- Crowns/bridgework
What Kind of Dental Implants Are Available at Our Crystal Lake Dentist Office?
There is not just one, but four dental implant options. The one you choose depends on the number of teeth you are missing.
For a single missing tooth, you can get a single tooth replacement. Implants can also replace multiple teeth, or all the teeth on the bottom and upper jawbone.
If you don’t want that many implants placed, you can opt for an implant-supported denture—this keeps dentures from slipping while you eat or talk.
Do You Need to Change Your Oral Hygiene Regiment?
Getting a dental implant is a big change, but it’s a healthy change for your smile. And the only change you need to make to your oral hygiene regiment is the quality of cleaning. Don’t be tempted to skip the floss or miss a night of brushing.
Bacteria and food particles won’t affect the implant and synthetic crown, but your gum tissue is still vulnerable. Brushing (twice a day) and flossing (at least once a day) on a daily basis will keep your gum tissue clean.
